This country star dropped a bombshell of a surprise when he announced this new 2018 tour and a guest that many never saw coming!
Taking to social media, Blake Shelton revealed that he would be setting out on tour beginning in February 2018 and performing a series of shows across the nation for his new Country Music Freaks Tour that featured several superstar surprise guests!
“The main thing that I look forward to these days, and, honestly, I always have, is my live performances,” Shelton admitted in a press release. “And even though I’m the first to say that too much time on the road can wear me down, too much time away from the road can break my heart. It’s been a while, and I cannot wait to get out there! I think this is going to be my greatest tour yet.”
Featuring the likes of rising stars Brett Eldredge and Carly Pearce, Shelton had an ace up his sleeve when he revealed who else would be joining them on this fun “Country Freaks” tour – and everyone is going to love it!
“Brett Eldredge … I’ve known that kid for many years now, and it’s been fun to see his career grow,” Shelton continued. “We’re also going to have Carly Pearce out there, and she’s had a breakthrough with her first hit this year. Then, bringing along my longtime friend and brother Trace Adkins … To be honest, we don’t even really have a plan yet, I just knew we needed to spend a little time together, and what better way than out on the road?”
That’s right, y’all! Trace Adkins will be hitting the road with Blake Shelton for this upcoming tour and every performance is sure to be epic!
Shelton’s Country Music Freaks Tour will begin on February 15th in Tulsa, Oklahoma and run until March 17th when it wraps up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – but more dates could be added depending on demand and scheduling availability.
