Blake Shelton Brings “God’s Country” To CMA Awards

Blake Shelton brought some of the biggest noise to the CMA Awards stage with his own booming and rousing performance of a song that has already won at least one award.

Nominated for 2019 Single Of The Year, Song Of The Year (Songwriter award), and Music Video Of The Year, one of Blake Shelton’s new singles has already struck a chord with fans on many levels.

The title track to his album God’s Country and a powerhouse southern anthem, “God’s Country” was a marked new development in Blake’s musical career – bringing a deep, growling and rough sound to his song.

After just hearing the song one time, Blake knew he had to record it – and he says it’s had a very strong impact on him. The music video was even filmed on his Oklahoma farm.

Tonight, during the 2019 CMA Awards, “God’s Country” took home top honors for Single Of The Year in an epic win that had Blake shouting his thanks up on stage with a great amount excitement you can only find during one night each year.
