Brantley Gilbert‘s fans knew that something big was coming on Friday (October 7), but they had no idea what. Gilbert first shared the news about the announcement on Facebook, telling his fans to “get ready.”

After two days of waiting, Gilbert finally revealed his big surprise to fans during a Facebook Live video. For the first time in two years, Gilbert is releasing an album!

Gilbert’s last release was 2014’s Just as I Am, which produced the number one singles “One Hell of an Amen” and “Bottoms Up.” Fans had been wondering for some time if Gilbert had a new album in the works, since he released a new single called “The Weekend” this year, which wasn’t included on Just as I Am.

During his Facebook Live video, Gilbert shared that his upcoming album will be titled The Devil Don’t Sleep, and he plans to drop it on January 13, 2017. Those who are anxious to get a copy of the album can pre-order it starting on October 12, according to Gilbert’s official website.

But the new album wasn’t the only surprise Gilbert had in store. He also revealed that he’ll be going on tour in 2017, with the tour being named after the new album. Two rising country stars will join Gilbert on his tour in 2017: Tucker Beathard (“Rock On”) and Luke Combs (“Hurricane”).

Pre-sale tickets for some of the tour dates will be available on October 12, while others will become available on October 17. Although only a few tour dates are listed as of right now, Gilbert said more dates will be announced in the future.

It looks like Gilbert will have a busy year ahead of him in 2017! We can’t wait to hear his new album, can you?
