It’s official! Carly Pearce and Michael Ray became husband and wife in a ceremony held near Nashville on Sunday.

According to PEOPLE, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate, whimsical ceremony at Drakewood Farm just north of Music City. The wedding was originally planned to be held outdoors, but weather didn’t cooperate and forced the ceremony inside one of the farm’s barns.

PEOPLE reports that Ray insisted on waiting to see his bride until she walked down the aisle to him. She looked stunning in a Samantha Sleeper gown featuring a high neckline, long sleeves, and a “short pencil skirt cloaked in a full-length piece of sheer lace.”

Country radio deejay and Grand Ole Opry announcer Bill Cody officiated the wedding where the couple exchanged vows they had written themselves.

Guests enjoyed shrimp and grits and a make-your-own burger station during the reception. But, perhaps the highlight of the post-wedding party was when country star Jake Owen performed his song “Made For You” for the couple’s first dance.

Pearce and Ray announced their engagement in December 2018 after Ray popped the question during a romantic vacation in Tulum, Mexico.

“Dec 19,2018 My life forever changed for the better,” Ray captioned an Instagram post announcing their engagement. “I got down on one knee in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and looked into the eyes of the most beautiful soul I have ever known and asked her to be my wife!!”

The newlyweds will be heading to Jamaica for their honeymoon, but not until December. Prior commitments are keeping them from honeymooning right away, but they are looking forward to a “dream vacation” at Sandals Resort in Jamaica in the near future.

“We started talking about the honeymoon and he said, ‘What’s your dream vacation?’” Pearce said. “And I said, ‘I want to stay in one of those over-water bungalows.’ So, we’re getting an over-water bungalow in Jamaica.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
