Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher said “I do” 11 years ago and the couple are more in love than ever. The pair celebrated their anniversary over the weekend with loving social media messages to each other.
Carrie shared a recent photo of her and Fisher together along with a caption that read, “Happy anniversary, babe! 11 years sure have flown by…here’s to many, many more! Love you!”

Carrie and Mike were introduced to each other by Carrie’s bassist, Mark Childers. At the time, Underwood admitted to being skeptical about going on a blind date so suggested they meet backstage at one of her concerts. The brief encounter went better than the singer anticipated, and the pair immediately fell for each other.
It was three months before the two saw each other again, although they got to know each other through phone calls in the meantime. On New Year’s Eve 2008, Mike and Carrie had their first official date and shared their first kiss.
“Our first kiss was when the ball dropped,” Carrie said. “We were in front of people, and he’s not a big PDA guy. I figured, I’ll go for it because he can’t leave me hanging, right? So I made him kiss me in public.”
Nearly one year later, Mike proposed at his home in Canada, and in July 2010 the pair tied the knot at the Ritz-Carlton resort on Lake Oconee, Georgia, in a lavish ceremony. Mike and Carrie now share two handsome boys, Isaiah(6) and Jacob (2).
The Fisher family recently enjoyed a country-fied family vacation in Colorado where they spent a week at the Wind River Ranch in Estes Park, a stunning Rocky Mountain park north of Denver. Carrie gave fans a glimpse into their family time by sharing photos of her crew donning plaid shirts, blue jeans, cowboy boots and cowboy hats.
The adorable family of four is shown enjoying some of the ranch activities such as horseback riding, zip lining, shooting a bow and arrow and playing with some of the ranch’s resident animals.
“What a wonderful week we had @windriverranch! We rested, made memories and spent time with other families praising God and all that He has made! Thanks to the incredible staff for taking such good care of us….It was a week we won’t ever forget!” Carrie captioned a series of photos from the vacation.
