Carrie Underwood celebrated her 39th birthday on Thursday (March 10). She received tons of birthday wishes from fans throughout the day.
Underwood thanked everyone for thinking of her on her special day. “Feeling loved this evening! Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone!” she wrote on Instagram.
The post also showcased a photo of Underwood’s beautiful birthday cake. The tall pink cake was covered in sparkles and decorative balls. Gold lettering on the front read “happy birthday mommy.”
Underwood shares two sons, Isaiah and Jacob, with her husband Mike Fisher.

In the photo’s caption, Underwood wrote, “I do believe that 39 is going to be my best year yet!” she included a winking smiley face emoji an a red heart emoji at the end of the post.
This comment seems to hint at the upcoming release of a new album. Before her birthday, Underwood posted a photo of herself in the studio and said, “So, I did a thing…”
Underwood’s post came after she told reporters backstage at the ACM Awards that fans can expect something new from her “soon.”
“I mean, I’m always working on something,” she said. “Obviously we can’t spill too many beans right now, but my fans know what I mean when I say ‘soon.’ Soon. They actually hate it when I use that word because they’re like, ‘what does that mean?!’”

Underwood certainly had a lot to celebrate on her birthday if she has a new album in the works!
Fisher also put up a post in honor of Underwood’s special day. The photo he shared shows a smiling Underwood posing with her birthday cake, which had five lit candles on top.
“Happy birthday @carrieunderwood the boys and I love you and appreciate you so much!” Fisher wrote in his sweet birthday message to his wife. You can see his post below.
