Actor, comedian, and singer Leslie Jordan passed away unexpectedly on Monday (October 24). He was 67 years old.

Page Six reports:

The famed comedian was driving in Hollywood when, it was later suspected, he suffered some sort of medical emergency and crashed his BMW into the side of a building.”

Jordan was known for his roles in shows such as American Horror Story, Hearts Afire, Will & Grace, and Call Me Kat. He became a viral star on social media during the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to the comedic clips he shared online that brightened the days of millions.

On top of all of that, Jordan was a beloved member of the country music community. He had many friends in the country music world, including Tanya Tucker, Brothers Osborne, and Dolly Parton.

In 2021, Jordan united with some of those friends to release his first album, Company’s Comin‘. It featured collaborations with all of the above mentioned artists, as well as Chris and Morgane Stapleton, Brandi Carlile,  and Ashley McBryde, among others.

Jordan also made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2021.

The country music community  was understandably devastated upon learning about Jordan’s death. Keep reading to see some reactions to the heartbreaking news.
