Almost two years after their hit reality television show Duck Dynasty came to an end after 11 seasons, Missy and Jase Robertson have unveiled a brand-new business venture that is very different from duck hunting!

Over the past few months, the couple has been sharing sneak peeks into a project they were working on, but didn’t say much about it. The first post about it was on October 1, 2018.

Missy posed outside of a white house and wrote, “While I’ve been restoring this treasure on the inside, Jase has been digging for his own treasures outside.” Other photo included in her post were of the inside of the house, Jase holding a coin, and some of his findings from the yard.

She also used the hashtag “LogtownPlantation,” which led us to believe this was what they were going to call their new home. Another post on November 17 left us bewildered.

Missy shared more updates from the renovation of the house with the caption, “Dining room reno/restoration complete. I’m in ❤️. Can’t wait to surround this 10’ table (made from wood found on the property!) with family & friends,” which – again – made us think they were going to live in this beautiful property, but at the end of her post, she revealed that bookings for 2019 would be open soon.

Finally, on February 1st, all of our questions were answered. Missy launched a Facebook page for Logtown Plantation and wrote a post about what they will be doing with the gorgeous property: it will be used for weddings, receptions, parties, dinners, and a bed and breakfast!

According to the Facebook page, the newly-renovated Logtown Plantation sits on 11 acres along the Ouachita River in Monroe, Louisiana.

Jase and Missy held an Open House for Logtown Plantation on March 2nd, which was basically an unveiling of their new business, and an opportunity for people to visit with them, as well as the vendors they would use for the weddings and events, and even book an event!

She and Jase thanked everyone for their support after the Open House went extremely well, writing, “I love doing life with this man! We’re celebrating an incredible turnout at our new venture yesterday. It’s always a little scary starting a new business, but we put our trust in God’s will, and you showed up by the hundreds to our open house. Thank you for supporting me and Jase and so many wonderful representatives of our incredible community.”
