Sadie Robertson is now a mama!
The young Duck Dynasty star and her husband, Christian Huff, welcomed their first child on Tuesday (May 11). Sadie gave birth to a baby girl, whose name she previously revealed a few weeks before her birth.
Sadie and Christian have named their daughter Honey James Huff. Her first name was inspired by Proverbs 16:24, as Sadie explained:
“I’ve always loved this verse. Its made me have a love for the idea of all that honey is. It’s a sweet delicacy with a strong healing component. When Christian and I started dating we went through the book of Proverbs together and I remember getting to chapter 16 and as I read verse 24 i said to him, ‘you have words like honey. they are so sweet and are healing places in my heart I didn’t even know needed to be healed.'”
Honey was born after her due date, which made waiting for her arrival all the more challenging for Sadie and Christian.
“I have to say waiting is hard… it’s hard to be patient. it’s hard to sit in the uncomfortably of being ‘almost’ to a miracle you’re waiting for,” Sadie said in a post a week before Honey’s birth.
But now Sadie and Christian’s little miracle is here, and she’s precious!
Sadie shared a series of photos that show her and Christian with their newborn daughter. “we saw a million little miracles yesterday – the best one being this girl right here… Honey,” Sadie captioned the pictures.

Sadie promised to tell the “story” of Honey’s birth at a later time. But for now, she’s too wrapped up in admiring how cute she is.
Christian also put up a post about his daughter’s birth. “Welcome to the world sweet honey girl,” he captioned two photos of him and Sadie with Honey. You can see those heartwarming photos below.
