Ella Langley Has A Dream Project She Wants To Complete, But It Doesn’t Connect To Her Music Career
Ella Langley has a big goal in mind, and you may be surprised to hear that it has nothing to do with music.
Many singers are actors, and vice versa. Country stars seem especially fond of acting, as many of the genre’s biggest names have appeared in films or TV series. Those artists include Dwight Yoakam, Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, and Reba McEntire, among others.
In the more modern era, Lainey Wilson has starred in Yellowstone, and Riley Green appears in the show’s brand-new spin-off series, Marshals.
Turns out, Langley would like to pursue acting as well. She has her sights set on a dream project she wants to complete, and it’s one we never expected.
During a recent appearance on The Jesse James Morning Show, Langley said she’d love to star in a thriller or horror film, with the latter being her biggest dream.
“[I would want to do a] Thriller probably first, maybe,” she said. “But I really want to do a horror movie. That’s like one of my big goals. Like an old-school horror movie, not like this stuff that you can’t put on and let your daddy walk through the room.”
Langley appears to be a fan of more classic horror films that aren’t full of gore and over-the-top violence. We hope she gets the chance to appear in such a project one day!

Ella Langley’s New Album, Dandelion, Debuts On April 10.
But don’t worry, Ella Langley isn’t giving up her music career for a life on the silver screen. Her sophomore album, Dandelion, is scheduled for release on April 10.
The album includes Langley’s crossover hit, “Choosin’ Texas.” The song reached #1 on both of Billboard’s country charts and topped the all-genre Hot 100.

Langley is only the seventh female artist to reach #1 on the Hot 100 with a country song.
Following in the footsteps of “Choosin’ Texas,” Langley has since released two more songs: “Dandelion” and “Be Her.” The latter track has an accompanying music video, which has already generated over 2.3 million views within two weeks of its release.
