The People’s Choice Country Awards Are Tonight (September 26)
Get excited, country music fans, because the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards air tonight (September 26).
The inaugural awards were held in 2023. That’s when Toby Keith was recognized as the “Country Icon.” During the ceremony, he delivered a moving performance of his song “Don’t Let the Old Man In.”
That ended up being Keith’s final televised performance before his death on February 5, 2024.
Morgan Wallen received the night’s top prize at last year’s ceremony, The People’s Artist of 2023. Since he is up for more awards this year, Wallen has the chance to add to his trophy collection.

There are 18 awards to hand out this year!
Zach Bryan is the most-nominated artist, with 19 nominations. Beyoncé earned the second-highest total of nominations, with 17. She is also the most-nominated female artist this year.
Other artists who scored multiple nominations include Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, and last year’s People’s Artist winner, Morgan Wallen.
