Gabby Barrett Welcomes The Holiday Season With Brand-New Album Carols And Candlelight
Carols and Candlelight, Gabby Barrett’s brand-new Christmas album, was released on Friday (November 8). The release is extra special because it is Barrett’s first Christmas record.
Barrett unveiled her plans for Carols and Candlelight on October 21.
“If you know me, you know that Christmas is my FAVORITE time of the year… so I have been so excited to announce my new Christmas album, ‘Carols and Candlelight’ will be available everywhere on 11.8,” she said in a post on social media.
Barrett also shared the album’s stunning cover art, which shows her surrounded by glowing candles and festive decorations.

Barrett, a devout Christian, has always shared her love for Christmas. She previously co-hosted the 2021 CMA Country Christmas special with Carly Pearce.

Carols and Candlelight features 11 tracks. Barrett offers her renditions of beloved Christmas songs such as “The First Noel,” “O Holy Night,” and “Mary, Did You Know?”
The album also boasts three collaborations. Barrett sings “Go Tell It on the Mountain” with the Christian pop duo for KING & COUNTRY. The Piano Guys accompany Barrett on “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.”
Barrett also sings with her husband (and fellow American Idol alum) Cade Foehner on “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”
