Jon Pardi already had one big reason to celebrate this week. His third studio album, Heartache Medication, dropped on September 27 and was met with rave reviews.

Many are already hailing the record as one of the best releases in country music this year. The album’s lead single and title track has performed well on the charts since its release and May, and its official music video has millions of views.

Now, Pardi has yet another thing to celebrate this week…his engagement!

To go along with the release of his new album, Pardi kicked off his Heartache Medication tour with two back-to-back shows at the iconic Ryman Auditorium. Both shows were sold out.

During the second show on Wednesday night (October 2), Pardi told the audience that the Ryman will always be a special place to him and his girlfriend of two years, Summer Duncan.

With Duncan by his side on stage, Pardi shared that they went to the Ryman on one of their first dates. Then, he gave the venue even more meaning in regards to their relationship when he got down on one knee and proposed to her mid-show!

An elated Duncan said yes, and the crowd gave the couple a standing ovation after hearing her response. The pair shared a kiss and a sweet embrace while the crowd photographed and filmed the romantic moment.

Another person who shared a picture of Pardi’s proposal was Dierks Bentley. The “Living” singer took to Instagram to brag about Pardi’s recent accomplishments and congratulate him on his engagement.
