Miranda Lambert‘s husband Brendan McLoughlin may be from New York City, but he’s learning how to be a farm boy now!
There are a lot of animals that live on Miranda and Brendan’s property in Tennessee, including a bunch of horses. With the winter months approaching, the two are preparing to make sure their horses will be well-fed until spring.
On Instagram, Miranda shared a slideshow containing several photos and two videos that show her and Brendan loading hay to feed to their horses throughout the winter. They also had some help from a few friends!
“Make hay while the sun shines y’all!” Miranda captioned the pictures.
Temperatures have still been fairly warm in Tennessee lately, so Brendan decided to ditch his shirt while he worked on loading the hay. Of course, Miranda was happy to show off her husband’s fit physique. She even called him her “#shirtlessfarmhusband” and included the hashtag “#yourewelcome.”

One person commented what we’re sure you’re all thinking. “Yeah… How’d you get ANY hay loaded with “that” around??” Miranda responded to the comment, and admitted she really didn’t get much work done at all.
“I mostly didn’t,” she wrote, including a cry-laughing smiley face emoji. We can’t blame her, can y’all?
