Morgan Wallen is continuing to do what he can to help those affected by the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Morgan Wallen to Host Canned Food Drive at Upcoming North Carolina Concerts

In recent weeks, Morgan Wallen has shown his support for those who lost so much when Hurricane Helene hit the western part of North Carolina, destroying entire cities and homes and leaving many people without shelter, food, and clean water.

Shortly after the tropical storm passed, Wallen contributed $500,000 to the American Red Cross for relief efforts. Being from eastern Tennessee, where the hurricane also caused significant damage, the cause was very personal for him, and he made the donation through his Morgan Wallen Foundation.

In addition to his generous donation, Wallen and his foundation partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee to host a food and water drive.

But Wallen’s efforts to help are not over yet. He is set to perform two shows at North Carolina’s Bank of America Stadium, starting today, October 18, and continuing tomorrow, October 19, which will conclude his 2024 One Night at a Time Tour. At both concerts, Wallen and his foundation will organize a canned food drive to support hurricane victims in the state.

People attending this weekend’s concerts will be able to drop off requested canned goods before the show. Fans who can’t attend in person can also donate online at secondharvestmetrolina.org.

Country Stars Will Gather Together for “Concert For Carolina”

Much of the country music community is stepping up to support North Carolina and other areas severely affected by Hurricane Helene. Earlier this month, Eric Church and Luke Combs announced they would host a benefit concert to raise funds for those in need following the hurricane’s devastation.

Titled Concert for Carolina, the event will take place on October 26 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to performances by Eric Church and Luke Combs, special guests such as Billy Strings, James Taylor, Sheryl Crow, and Scotty McCreery will also take the stage that night.

All proceeds from the evening will go directly to North Carolina’s relief efforts, including funds raised from ticket sales, raffles, and auctions planned for the event.

Unfortunately, tickets are sold out to attend in person, but the concert will be available for streaming. Through the streaming platform Veeps, you can purchase a $24.99 ticket to watch the event live, with all proceeds going toward donation funds.
