Introducing Gordon Pointe, the pinnacle of luxury living nestled in Naples, Florida.
With three exquisite residences, a private yacht basin, and an impressive 1,700 feet of pristine waterfront access, it stands as an unparalleled symbol of extravagance and elegance.
The sale includes the main house, covering approximately 11,500 square feet with six bedrooms, and two guest houses, each exceeding 5,000 square feet.
The U.S. has seen its fair share of jaw-dropping real estate, but Gordon Pointe is set to rewrite the record books.
Priced at an astounding $295 million, this sprawling waterfront estate would be the most expensive residential property ever sold in the country.
Initially, The Wall Street Journal was the first to report on this monumental listing, highlighting the potential for Gordon Pointe to shatter existing records.
The newspaper says financier, John Donahue, and his wife, Rhodora, bought about 4.3 acres of land in 1985 for $1 million. Over time, they bought more land and ended up with almost 60 acres in the gated Port Royal community in Naples. Now, their 13 children and 84 grandchildren are selling part of the family’s property.
“We’ve all enjoyed it, but it’s more or less time to move on,” John and Rhodora’s son, Bill Donahue, told the Wall Street Journal.

This opulent estate reigns as the crown jewel of American real estate.
The Dawn McKenna Group of Coldwell Banker Realty, in partnership with The Leighton Candler Team of Corcoran and Rory McMullen of Savills, brought the listing to market.
“There can be eight waterfront homes on this property,” Candler told CNBC.
While it’s possible to divide the property after purchase, the broker anticipates that the buyer will probably choose to keep it as a private family compound.
“It gives you all the benefits of being on an island, but on Gordon Pointe, your family can be secluded without feeling isolated,” Candler said.
What do you think about the staggering asking price? Could you envision yourself staying in this luxurious estate?
