David Gilliland Racing released a statement that driver Taylor Gray was involved in a single-car accident.

The incident occurred on Wednesday night, and Gray, 16, was immediately transported to a local hospital in Statesville, North Carolina. According to the team, Gray is currently in stable condition.
“David Gilliland Racing diver, Taylor Gray, was involved in a single-car accident last night in Statesville, N.C. Gray was transported to a local hospital where he remains in stable condition,” David Gilliland Racing stated on Twitter.
Gray is a driver in the ARCA Menards Series, but he is scheduled to compete in his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on April 17, 2021. According to Gray’s team, the 16-year-old’s participation in the event is currently unknown. David Gilliland Racing will make the final call at a later time.

In his career thus far, Gray has 13 ARCA Menards Series starts, including one from 2021. Gray also came in ninth at Phoenix for David Gilliland Racing. The 16-year-old has also won one race in the 2020 ARCA Menards West Series.
