When Valentine’s Day rolls around, couples typically celebrate by enjoying a nice dinner together at a fancy restaurant. But Valentine’s dinners can be quite a pain, since restaurants are inevitably packed and the food is always overpriced.

While if you want to treat your Valentine to a dinner with all of the tastiness and none of the fuss, then Waffle House is the perfect place!

Yes you read that right. Waffle House, everyone’s favorite 24-hour breakfast establishment, is promising a Valentine’s dinner that is sure to be a little bit romantic and a whole lot of redneck.

While there are Waffle House restaurants all over the United States, most of the locations are in the South and the Midwest. Because of this, Waffle House has earned the reputation as one of the most beloved restaurants by country folks all over.

With waffles as large as a plate, delightful biscuits, and their famous hash browns, the folks at Waffle House know how to make food that sings to the heart. So that’s why it made perfect sense for them to start hosting special Valentine’s dinners every February 14.

A perfect Valentine’s dinner consists of soft music, great food and a welcoming atmosphere,” Walt Ehmer, the CEO of Waffle House, said in a press release. “And we have all three waiting for those who are ready.”

Since Waffle House hosted its first Valentine’s Day dinner at a location in Georgia in 2008, Ehmer says that the tradition has expanded to bring on even more locations. This year, nearly 40 locations in the state of Georgia alone will be welcoming customers for a special Valentine’s feast.

Do note, not all Waffle House locations will be hosting a Valentine’s themed dinner. Because of this, you need to call your preferred location to see if they’re participating in the romantic celebration. If they are, Ehmer says that you’ll absolutely want to make a reservation.

This tradition grows every year, and now we are the must-have reservations for Valentine’s Day,” he said. “It’s really a bucket-list experience.”
