Country music has experienced quite the baby boom this year! Over seven new members of the country music family were brought into this world just between the months of August and October alone.
Kane Brown, Brett Young, and Brantley Gilbert are a few country stars to recently expand their families. All of their wives were still expecting when they walked the red carpet at the CMT Music Awards in July!
But even though those artists have since welcomed their babies, there were still pregnant country stars and spouses at the 2019 CMA Awards this year. From Thomas Rhett‘s wife Lauren Akins, to Maren Morris, many attendees rocked a baby bump at the CMA Awards.

Maren Morris and her husband, Ryan Hurd, are currently expecting their first child together. They announced the happy news in late October.
The couple is expecting a baby boy, and he is due in early 2020. So it only seems fitting that Maren wore an all-blue outfit when she walked the red carpet at the CMA Awards.
She pointed out the color choice when she shared a pair of red carpet photos on Instagram, captioning them with “Baby Blue.”

Just days before the CMA Awards, Jimmie Allen and his fiancée Alexis Gale announced they are expecting their first child together! Jimmie already has a five-year-old son named Aadyn from a previous relationship.
As for Jimmie and Alexis, they are expecting a baby girl, and she’ll make her debut in 2020. While walking the red carpet at the CMA Awards, Jimmie and Alexis shared that they’ll be naming her “Naomi.”

Frankie Ballard and his wife, Christina, just announced on November 7 that they’re expecting their first child together!
Christina is due in February. The couple told People they decided to wait to find out if they’re having a boy or a girl. So they’ll be surprised when their little one arrives this winter!

Hannah Mooney (Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay’s Wife)

Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay and his wife, Hannah, announced in August that they’re expecting their second child. The two already share a son, two-year-old Asher.
They’re expecting another baby boy, and he’s due to join the family in early 2020!

Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akins, announced in July that they’re expecting their third child! They are already parents to two daughters: four-year-old Willa Gray and two-year-old Ada James.
And baby Akins will ensure that Thomas will forever be outnumbered. When the couple announced their pregnancy, they also revealed they’re having another girl!
“Excited to share that I will now be paying for 3 weddings,” Thomas wrote on Instagram when he shared the news.
All four of Thomas’ girls were on the red carpet with him at the CMA Awards this year. Lauren is due in 11 weeks, so Baby Akins will soon get to meet her fashionable big sisters!
