Duck Dynasty‘s Sadie Robertson just got the best birthday present ever!
It just so happens that Sadie and her sweetheart, Christian Huff, have birthdays within days of each other. Christian celebrated his birthday on June 8, while Sadie will turn 22 on June 11.
So the couple’s friends and families gathered together over the weekend to celebrate during a joint birthday party. But little did Sadie know that the party was also a surprise engagement party!
Over the weekend, Christian got down on one knee and asked Sadie to marry him. Of course she said yes!
The newly-engaged Sadie took to social media to share a romantic video of the proposal, and made her joy clear in the caption.
” I screamed YES,” she wrote. “so many words and so many more pictures to come, but for now just know my friends I’m the happiest human in the world on June 9th, 2019 today and for the rest of my life. I GET TO MARRY THIS MAN. God is faithful and so so good.”
Sadie’s sisters Bella and Rebecca were actually the first to share the happy news online, as they each shared photos and videos celebrating Sadie’s engagement.
The photos also show off the stunning diamond Sadie is now rockin’ on her ring finger!

After Sadie shared the news herself, her mom, Korie, took to Instagram to respond to the news of her engagement. Penning a note that her daughter is sure to treasure for years to come, Korie gushed about Christian and shared her excitement over his proposal.
“Sadie’s getting married!!!!! To the most amazing man, and we are beaming!!!” she wrote. “Today was an absolute dream.”
Korie also shared a series of photos with the happy couple, including one with her husband and Sadie’s father, Willie.
