The truth of the matter is: you can never have too much cheese.
Even if you’re lactose intolerant, you have to admit – cheese is a blessing nobody can truly live without. And now, you can drop those high-starch and carby tortillas you’re used to and replace them with this wonderful new product we found at Costco!

Lotitos Foods has created something we can only describe as the brightest food invention we’ve seen in a very long time.
Their “Folios Cheese Wraps” are thin sheets of cheese cut into tortilla-sized circles and separated by parchment paper. You can use these for so many recipes and they are a must-have for any household with kids!
A lot of you might be thinking: “But are they nutritious?”
The short answer: YES!
Folios Cheese Wraps have just 180 calories in each wrap, compared to the average flour tortilla at 160 calories. While there are few more calories, each wrap contains 14g of protein while cutting out all carbohydrates and sugars. Not to mention they are both gluten and lactose-free!
Standard flour tortillas only have about 4g of protein and 26g of carbohydrates while adding in at least 1g of sugar. Basically, they’re just starch pads.

You can keep Folios in the fridge, then let them get to room temperature and fold them up, cut them up, or melt them over the top of soup! Think about it: nachos with cheese evenly distributed across the chips!
They get a bit stiff in the fridge, so it’s best to wrap them at room temperature (according to Lotitos website.)
Many folks on Instagram have been using them to keep them on track with the Keto diet and they make perfect taco shells. Just take one wrap out of the package and microwave for 60 seconds, then fold it into the shell shape you want!

While cheese taco shells are enough for the internet to obsess about these Folios, there is a famous Trisha Yearwood recipe that everybody already loves – and these are a perfect way to make them even healthier!
Trisha’s famous “Redneck Sushi” recipe is normally made with flour tortillas, but by just replacing them with Folios Cheese Wraps, you amp up the protein and lose the carbs!

These amazing cheese wraps can sometimes be hard to find depending on where you live and what stores are around! Many folks have found them at their local Costco, but others say that discount supermarket chain Aldi also has begun to carry them.
The Lotitos website states that after a recent flood of attention on the internet has made the item a bit harder to find, but they are working around-the-clock to pump more of these wraps out.
