Tonya Harding got in touch with her redneck side last night (May 8) on Dancing With The Stars with a country-fried quick step to the tune of Gretchen Wilson‘s “Redneck Woman.”
“I drive a big truck, I cut firewood, I hunt, I fish, I’m a country girl, so it’ll be really fun to show the world another side to me,” shared the 47-year-old prior to her performance.
Harding and Dancing partner Sasha Farber earned an impressive 30 out 40 points for their camo-clad dance, the talented partners advancing into the next round of the competition.
“Redneck Woman” was released as Wilson’s lead single off her debut album Here For the Party in March 2004. The country tune is widely considered Wilson’s signature song, earn her the award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance at the 2005 Grammy Awards.
