One of the biggest, baddest, country singers around just dropped a bombshell that will have y’all cheering!
Known for his breathtaking talent as a country musician, his deep and brooding baritone voice, and his killer acting skills, Trace Adkins is a truly formidable force in the entertainment industry – and this new announcement only cements that further!
After four Grammy nominations, 11 studio albums, a seemingly endless number of chart-topping singles, and millions of albums sold, this living country legend has been working hard on his latest project – and he’s finally ready to reveal it.
Announced today through a press release on his official web site, Trace Adkins took the wraps off his highly anticipated new album, a new single, and even revealed a 35-date tour in support of it!
His first new studio album since 2013, Adkins’ 2017 release, Something’s Going On will hit shelves on March 31st, with his brand new tour kicking off in just a couple weeks on February 4th!
On top of the album reveal and tour announcement, Adkins also debuted his latest single on YouTube and VEVO today, called “Watered Down”. This new single comes hot off the heels of his two singles from last year, “Jesus and Jones” and “Lit” – which both received rave reviews from fans who begged for more music from the icon.
“Watered Down” is a powerful, moving ballad that takes note of how a person grows past things in their life, but still holds onto the things that crafted them into the person they are today – they’re just a little “watered down”.
Tickets for Trace Adkins’ upcoming are already on sale for select performances, with other dates opening up soon. Visit the official 2017 Trace Adkins Tour webpage for more details.
