All of the coaches on The Voice are some of the most successful artists in their respective genres. Just look at the lineup of coaches for Season 12! Blake Shelton is one of country music’s most popular artists, with 23 number one hits. Alicia Keys is one of the most highly-respected artists in the entire music industry, with a total of 15 Grammy Awards to her name. Gwen Stefani is one of pop music’s leading ladies, with over 30 million albums sold.
Then there’s Adam Levine, who is known as the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Maroon 5. Over the years, Levine has served as the voice behind some of music’s biggest hits, including “Harder to Breathe,” “She Will Be Loved,” and “Sugar.” Levine co-wrote all of those songs as well, and writes the majority of Maroon 5’s material.
On The Voice, Levine has helped guide three contestants to victory, the most reason being Season 9 winner Jordan Smith. With such a decorated background, it’s no wonder why contestants often want to score a spot on Levine’s team!
Now, Levine has a leg up on the other coaches for Season 12. As announced on Tuesday night (January 31), Levine is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Stars on the Walk of Fame are awarded to the most accomplished people in the entertainment industry. Although Levine is well-known for his work on The Voice, his star will honor him for his musical contributions. The star will fall under the “Recording” category, and will be the 2,601st star on the Walk of Fame.
Levine joins some of his fellow Voice coaches on the Walk of Fame. Former coaches Pharrell Williams, Usher, Shakira, and Christina Aguilera all have stars already.
The ceremony for the unveiling of Levine’s star will take place on Friday, February 10 at 11:30 AM PST, just a couple of weeks before Season 12 of The Voice debuts. Those who wish to visit Levine’s star in the future will be able to find it at 6752 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Musicians Institute.

According to Helping Emcee and Hollywood Chamber President/CEO Leron Gubler, Shelton is one of the scheduled performers for the unveiling of Levine’s star. Rock legend Sammy Hagar is also scheduled to perform.
