Country singer Jake Hoot won Season 17 of The Voice as a member of Team Kelly. Life has been pretty eventful for him since then. He’s played at the Opry, he released a duet with Kelly, and he got married!

Jake married labor and delivery nurse Brittney Hoyt in Tennessee on March 7, 2021. He performed an original song during their vows and sang another original song at the reception.

Brittney also enjoys singing. She and Jake released a duet in February 2022 titled “Wherever Time Goes.”

More recently, Jake and Brittney teamed up to cover a duet recorded by married Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Blake and Gwen have released four duets together. Their third, “Nobody but You,” was a huge hit, and claimed the #1 spot on the Country Airplay chart. Its music video also won the CMT Music Award for Collaborative Video of the Year.

We’ve heard many covers of “Nobody but You” over the years, but the Hoots’ is one of our favorites!

Jake gently strummed along on his acoustic guitar while he and Brittney sang the chorus of “Nobody but You.” Brittney’s voice is soft and gentle, and serves as the perfect complement to Jake’s.

Jake gushed about his wife in the caption, saying, “Dang. I love @brittneynicolehoot[‘s] voice! Here’s one of our favorite covers! What duets do you like?

You can watch Jake and Brittney’s cover of “Nobody but You” below. We can’t wait to hear what they sing next!
