On Thursday (September 26), NBC broadcast the second annual PCCAs, with Shania Twain hosting. This year’s ceremony was held at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
The PCCAs introduced several new categories this year. There were 18 categories in total, including The Female Artist of 2024.
As a fan-voted awards show, fans had the power to determine the winners in every PCCAs category. They could vote for one of eight nominees in those categories, including The Female Artist of 2024.

Lainey Wilson

Who Was Named The Female Artist Of 2024?
Lainey Wilson is the reigning winner in the Female Artist category. She received the trophy during the show’s inaugural ceremony in 2023. Did she reclaim her crown?
Fans finally learned who won on September 26. It was revealed that Lainey Wilson is the PCCAs‘ Female Artist of 2024!
Fans won’t be shocked that Lainey Wilson took home this award for a second year! She’s one of country music’s most beloved artists, thanks partly to her recently released singles “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” and “Hang Tight Honey.”
Wilson also has a strong social media following, with over 2.7 million followers on Instagram and over 1.6 million followers on Facebook. A large number of those fans undoubtedly voted for her to win this award!
Unfortunately, Wilson wasn’t able to accept her award in person. She had a concert in Vancouver, Canada, and had to miss the ceremony.
