It’s one of the biggest awards the CMA has to offer…the award for Female Vocalist of the Year!
Each year, the CMA issues the Female Vocalist of the Year Award to the “best” female country artist of the year. This award has been bestowed on so many iconic singers in the past, including Reba McEntire, Tammy Wynette, and Martina McBride.
Miranda Lambert holds the record for the most Female Vocalist of the Year wins, with a total of six. That total could increase to seven, as Lambert is one of the five artists nominated in the category this year.
After such an eventful year thanks to her album The Weight of These Wings, Lambert could stand a good shot at earning that seventh trophy! But she faces some fierce competition this year, so it’s anyone’s game.
Now it’s time for you to pick for who you think should win the Female Vocalist of the Year Award. Vote for your choice in the poll below! Then, check back later to see which lady is in the lead!
