The country singer announced her split from husband Mike Caussin in April 2021 after five years of marriage. According to documents obtained by E News!, Kramer listed her reason for divorce as “inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences and adultery.” Caussin publicly struggled with infidelity in the past but sought treatment in hopes of mending the marriage. Unfortunately, in an interview with Extra‘s Billy Bush, Kramer admitted that she again found evidence that Caussin was unfaithful.
“Let’s just say it was bad enough that I had no choice,” she stated.

Despite feeling that divorce was the only option, Kramer admitted that she almost changed her mind about the divorce at the last minute. At the time, Caussin was unaware that Kramer was about to serve him papers. Since the country singer could not serve the documents herself, Kramer hired an independent party to deliver the news.
“All I wanted to do honestly in that moment was to run out and say, ‘Never mind, never mind, never mind. Guy, go away. Mike, come here,'” Kramer admitted during her Whine Down podcast. “Literally that’s what I wanted to do because that was the addict in me being like the second he gets those papers, it’s done and I can’t go back to that person anymore because that’s for me, whenever I filed, I was done. I can’t go back from that. How can you?”
