The Gilberts are now a family of four!
Back in March, Brantley Gilbert and his wife, Amber, shared the happy news that they were expecting their second child together. Their first child, son Barrett Hardy-Clay, was born in November 2017.
At the time of the pregnancy announcement, Amber was far enough along that she and Brantley were able to share the baby’s gender. They pulled on a rope attached to a box above their heads, and a whole bunch of pink balloons and confetti came pouring out!

Since then, Brantley and Amber have been hard at work preparing for the arrival of their little princess. When they announced their pregnancy news, they said that Amber was due in September, and sure enough, that’s when Baby Girl Gilbert arrived!
On Tuesday (September 10), the couple happily announced that their daughter was born the previous day (September 9). She weighed six pounds and seven ounces, which was her brother Barrett’s exact birth weight.
As for what Brantley and Amber chose to name their little one, they kept the “B” theme going with her first name. They named her Braylen Hendrix.
Amber and Brantley announced their daughter’s arrival on social media, and shared a few photos from the day of her birth. Scroll through the below slideshow to see them all.

Don’t you just love those photos of Barrett with his baby sister?
Not long after Brantley and Amber found out they were expecting Barrett, Brantley started writing a song that became “Man That Hung the Moon.” Now that Braylen is in his life, Brantley told People she makes the song “that much more special.”
You can watch Brantley’s official music video for “Man That Hung the Moon below,” in which both Barrett and Amber appear.
A huge congratulations to Brantley, Amber, and Barrett on their new addition. Little Braylen is such as sweetheart!
