“Got to spend some much needed family time recently in Orlando!!! We rode lots of rides, ate lots of sugar, smiled a million smiles and made a million memories!!! These years, with our boys, we’ll never get back…to see the wonder and excitement on their faces is priceless! We already can’t wait to go back!” Carrie captioned a series of photos.

One of those photos showed Underwood and Fisher posing in front of Cinderella’s castle. Another showed their sons, Isaiah (6) and Jacob (2), looking over a fence at one of the amusement park’s rides.

This wasn’t the first time the American Idol champ visited Disney World. In 2009, Underwood was joined by other Idol winners for the Grand Opening of the “American Idol Experience” attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Much like the competition show, the “American Idol Experience” gave participants the chance to sing in front of a casting producer who decided if they got to take the stage or go home. Those who make it to the stage got voted on by audience members who determine their fate. The singer chosen in the grand finale at the end of each day will received a ticket to a regional audition for the actual American Idol show.

In 2012, Underwood returned to Disney World with her husband in tow. The couple visited the park where they took time to meet with some of Disney’s characters such as Mickey and Minnie.
