Carrie Underwood Will Ring In 2025 With A Live Performance At New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

America will ring in the New Year by listening to country music. 2025 is looking good!

Carrie Underwood has announced an exciting performance on New Year’s Eve before the famous ball drops to welcome 2025. She shared the news on her Instagram.“I’ll be closing out 2024 as I perform LIVE from Times Square on @RockinEve just before the ball drops! So excited to end the year with you @RyanSeacrest!”

The new American Idol judge will be performing live at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show.

Ryan Seacrest will host the event, marking his 20th year overseeing the New Year’s Eve ball drop. It has also been 20 years since Underwood won American Idol, making this year’s celebration particularly special.

According to Variety, Carrie Underwood said:

“I have such fun memories of performing on ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ in Times Square in both 2007 and 2015, and I’m so excited to perform just before the ball drops again this year. I’m thrilled to celebrate 20 years since winning ‘American Idol’ by joining Ryan as he hosts his 20th New Year’s Eve in Times Square.”

This year’s performance is sure to be one for the books!

This Is Not The First Time Carrie Underwood Has Taken The New Year’s Eve Stage

Almost 10 years ago, Underwood performed a medley of her greatest hits during the live event. The singer sang a mashup of “Before He Cheats,” “Heartbeat,” and “Smoke Break.”
