“Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” stars, Jane Seymour and Joe Lando, are reuniting for a holiday movie scheduled to air on Lifetime later this year.

Seymour shared that she will be joining Lando onscreen for “A Christmas Spark” as part of the network’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” lineup.

“A Christmas Spark” shares the story of widow Molly, played by Seymour, who visits her daughter for Christmas. While there, Molly takes on the task of directing the town’s Christmas pageant and falls for the town’s most eligible bachelor, Hank, played by Lando.

Seymour and Lando co-starred in the American western drama series “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” for six seasons in the 1990s. Set in Colorado Springs in the late 1800s, the now-71-year-old actress played the show’s lead character Dr. Michaela “Mike” Quinn. Lando portrayed her love interest, Byron Sully.

In a 2019 interview with US Weekly, Seymour said that she dated Lando during the filming of the show’s pilot episode. Their breakup made for some awkwardness while filming the episodes that followed, but poured the love they had for each other into their onscreen roles.

“We, obviously, clearly loved one another and realized we couldn’t be actually in real-life together. I think we just played it [off] as Michaela and Sully,” the actress said.

Lando and Seymour’s Lifetime movie reunion may be the first time to two have shared the small screen since their series ended in 1998, but it isn’t the first time they’ve been together since. In 2021, the pair was joined by two other cast mates to celebrate Lando’s 60th birthday. The moment was captured in a photo shared to social media.
