Tons of people shared Cole’s missing person flyer on social media to raise awareness about his disappearance.
1923 Star Found Deceased On Friday, April 5th
At the same time, police in Lawrence, Kansas announced they were also searching for Cole Brings Plenty, but as a suspect in a domestic violence incident.
“Police were called to an apartment on reports of a woman screaming for help,” reported KSNT. “Upon arrival, police began investigating the claims, identifying Plenty as a possible suspect. Traffic cameras showed Plenty leaving the city immediately following this incident south on 59 Highway.“
The search for Cole came to a sad conclusion on Friday, April 5th. Deputies discovered his body in a rural area southwest of Kansas City. Cole’s cause and manner of death remain unknown as of press time.
Mo, the actor’s uncle, shared a heartbreaking statement from Joe, Cole’s father, after they found his body.
The statement read in part:
“I am deeply saddened to confirm that my son, Cole, has been found and is no longer with us. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole…“
In the aftermath of Cole’s death, one of his friends came forward to share some new details. The friend says Cole attended a concert on March 30.
While in a mosh pit during the show, Cole’s long hair got caught in some wires. His friend claims someone cut his hair to free him, without Cole’s consent.
Hair holds significant value in the Indigenous community. Cutting someone’s hair is considered to be assault and an extreme sign of disrespect.
It’s unknown if this reported incident connects to Cole’s disappearance and death.
