Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have spent many Christmases together by now. Through the years, the couple has established some holiday traditions they’ve kept going.
For example, they’ll put up a wrapping paper wall for Stefani’s three sons to run through on Christmas morning. “…they have that moment when they run through the wrapping paper wall that she sets up every year. That’s about the only thing that I think consistently happens,” Shelton told E! News in 2019.

But there is another Christmas tradition Shelton and Stefani have carried through the years…and it’s quite unique! As Stefani shared in an interview with WSJ Magazine, she and Shelton make a specific dish that’s an essential part of their Christmas celebrations:
“We do this thing called a timpano dome, which is an Italian dome, it’s kind of like a lasagna within a pizza,” she said. “We’ve been doing that ever since I met him. It was in a famous movie [Big Night]. You can put anything in it.“
While the timpano dome and the wrapping paper wall are traditions the couple brings back each year, they also switch things up. “Blake likes to make new traditions every year,” Stefani said.
Earlier this year, the couple celebrated the Christmas season by performing their holiday duet, “You Make it Feel Like Christmas” for the Christmas in Rockefeller Center television special. Watch their performance below starting around the 9:52 mark.
We hope Shelton and Stefani have a very merry Christmas this year!
