American Idol alum Josh Gracin had some exciting news to share with his fans on Wednesday (July 10)!
The “Nothin’ to Lose” singer took to social media to reveal that he and his wife of two years, Katie, are expecting their first child together.
Josh already has four children from his previous marriage: daughters Briana (17), Gabriella (12), Isabella (10), and son Landon (13).
So is the talented singer about to add a fourth daughter to his brood, or a second son? You don’t have to wait to learn the answer to that question, because he and Katie already know the gender of their little one…it’s a boy!
Josh announced the news alongside a photo of he and Katie smiling for the camera in front of a blue and white striped wall. Josh is seen holding a large balloon with a decorative font reading “Baby Gracin.”
In the caption, Josh also revealed they are naming their new addition “Luka.”

In her own post, which contains even more photos from their pregnancy reveal photo shoot, Katie shared that they picked out the name Luka long ago.
“We’ve even had the name picked out since before being pregnant,” she wrote.
Josh explained the special meaning behind the name during an interview with People:
“Luka represents my father’s Croatian heritage and Italian blood,” he told the publication. “Prayers were truly answered!”

The couple also told People that Luka is due to make his grand debut some time in early 2020!
After Luka arrives, we wouldn’t be surprised if Josh decides to write a song about him. He previously wrote a song about his relationship with Katie, titled “Nothin’ Like Us.” Give the romantic track a listen by tuning in to the clip below.
