Earlier this year, Miranda Lambert stunned the world when she announced she had married NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin during a secret ceremony in Tennessee.
Lambert announced the news two days after Valentine’s Day, and shared a couple of photos from her wedding day:
“I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me,” she wrote.

Since then, Lambert and McLoughlin have split their time between her home in Nashville and his home in New York City. Lambert says the time she has spent in the Big Apple has directly influenced her music, and you’ll be able to hear that influence on her upcoming record.
“I have been spending time in New York and I got married and I’m happy, and working with Jay, that all brought a really new phase and sound for Miranda Lambert,” she told Rolling Stone.
While Lambert hasn’t shared many photos of her husband on social media, most of them were taken in Nashville. Another photo she shared was taken during the ACM Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada.

But recently, she shared a picture from her husband’s home city, and it’s as cute as can be.
Posing together on a balcony with the city skyline behind them, the married couple cuddled close together to take an adorable snapshot. Lambert came up with the perfect caption to accompany it, simply writing, “NYPDA” to refer to the PDA going on in the photo.

The pair’s New York stint comes a few weeks after they appeared together in Nashville at CMA Fest. Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation hosted a “Mutt March” to raise awareness for pet adoption, and she and McLoughlin marched at the front of the group.
