On July 12, 2020, Benjamin Keough died at the age of 27. His death was classified as a suicide.

Ben was Lisa Marie Presley‘s only son. She also has three daughters: Riley, Harper, and Finley.

Riley, who is Ben’s older sister, paid tribute to her brother on the two-year anniversary of his death this year (2022). She shared a post on social media containing a photo of her and Ben from her 2015 wedding:

Not an hour goes by where I don’t think of you and miss you,” she said. “It’s been two years today since you left and I still can’t believe you’re not here. You are so loved my Ben Ben.”

After Ben died in 2020, Riley expressed her grief in an emotional post on social media. She said:

“I hope you give me strength to endure the giant hole you’ve left in my heart. I hope you give me the strength to eat…I can’t believe you’ve left me. Not you sweet Ben Ben. Anyone but you. I guess this is true heartbreak. I hope we meet again.”

Riley continued to open up about her grief in a 2021 interview with Variety. She said:

I think when you’re in grief…everything for the first time hits you…it’s like, oh I’m experiencing this in grief now…you kind of have to re-experience everything in grief all over again…
