Beware: this article contains a spoiler for those of you who aren’t caught up on Riverdale.
The popular CW series that starred Luke Perry as Archie’s father for the last three seasons has done a tremendous job in honoring the late actor with the first episode of the new season – and the final one that Luke Perry will be shown in.

Perry’s character, Fred Andrews, and his own passing in the storyline of the show was addressed early on in the episode – and it created a huge wave of emotions that kept on for the rest of the episode.
Luke Perry, who is known for his work on the smash-hit series Beverly Hills, 90210, western biopic 8 Seconds, and most recently – Riverdale.
The 52-year-old actor held a number of other roles throughout the years and made appearances in shows like Law & Order: SVU, Oz, Will & Grace, Body Of Proof, and many others. In total, Perry is credited in more than 90 different projects.
He passed away on March 4th, 2019 after a suffering an ischemic stroke at his home in Sherman Oaks, California.
In his final episode of Riverdale, Perry’s character is said to have been hit by a vehicle while helping a stranded motorist fix her tire…and that motorist just so happened to be played by Perry’s real-life friend and former co-star, Shannen Doherty.
