Sadie Robertson and her husband Christian Huff are getting closer to the day they’ll get to meet their baby girl!
With her due date fast-approaching, the young Duck Dynasty star recently told her followers her unborn daughter’s name…Honey James Huff. The name was inspired by Proverbs 16:24, which reads, “Gracious words are like HONEY, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.”
Sadie explained why the word “honey” means so much to her and Christian:
“When Christian and I started dating we went through the book of Proverbs together and I remember getting to chapter 16 and as I read verse 24 i said to him, ‘you have words like honey. they are so sweet and are healing places in my heart I didn’t even know needed to be healed.’ On our first date we went to do pottery together and on my cup i simply wrote ‘honey’ (swipe) because i called him the boy with the honey words.”
Sadie expressed how excited she is to meet her daughter, writing, “We can’t wait to meet you and see your story unfold before our eyes.”

Sadie’s excitement about her daughter’s upcoming birth can be seen in a photo her mom, Korie, recently shared of her. The photo shows Sadie with her younger sister, Bella, who is also preparing for a milestone moment in her own life.
In November 2020, Bella announced she was engaged to her boyfriend, Jacob Mayo. She and Jacob have been busy planning their wedding ever since. While she’s never named her exact wedding date, she told Fox News they were hoping for a summer 2021 wedding.
Sadie helped her bride-to-be sister by doing her makeup for some bridal portraits. Korie snapped a photo while they were together, and said the moment “just might be [her] new favorite memory.“
“SISTERS,” Korie captioned the picture, “one about to have her own baby girl and one about to walk down the aisle to the man of her dreams.”
Sadie was wearing a sports bra and a pair of sweatpants at the time, so her bare baby bump was on fully display. It’s crazy to think how far along she is in her pregnancy!
