This season of The Voice has revealed some incredible talent. From young to old, all the contestants have their own style of singing. We’ve seen the Battle Rounds, the Knockout performances, and now it is time for the top 24 contestants to perform at the Live Playoffs. Plenty of ambitious singers stole the audience’s hearts, but one member of Team Blake stole the whole show.

22-year-old Kirk Jay has been stunning the audience with his country sound since his first audition. The Alabama-native began finding his love for music when he was only five years old, playing drums and singing in his church choir. Since then, he has learned to play the piano gracefully and even started his own band, Kirk Jay & Kuntry Funk.

Coach Blake Shelton couldn’t have made a better decision than asking Jay to join his team on The Voice. Jay, who brings all he has to every performance, already has a large fan base following behind him. The young singer is known for singing some of country’s favorite hits too. Jay has performed Rascal Flatts’ “Bless The Broken Road” and Brett Young’s “In Case You Didn’t Know.”

During last night’s Live Playoff performance, Jay moved the coaches and the viewers with his vocals. Appearing on stage with a gold jacket, his outfit perfectly matched the performance he was about to put on. The singer did his own rendition of Diamond Rio’s “One More Day.” The soft and heartfelt ballad meshed perfectly with Jay’s soulful voice. Even Shelton’s reactions proved him to be in awe of his young team member’s performance.
