Sadie Robertson‘s husband, Christian Huff, celebrated his 23rd birthday on Wednesday (June 9). The happy day came just a few days shy of one month after Sadie and Christian welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Honey James Huff.

In honor of Christian’s birthday, Sadie wrote an affectionate note for him and posted it on social media. Her message was accompanied by a slideshow of photos and videos that show her and Christian together. Honey also made a few appearances in the slideshow.
“MY HUBBY AND BESTIE WAS BORN 23 YEARS AGO,” the Duck Dynasty star wrote in an enthusiastic opening to her note for Christian.
She went on to talk about all of Christian’s best qualities, and complimented him as a husband and father:
“You have the biggest servants heart, you are literally hilarious, you love your people with your whole heart, you’re the sweetest husband, and the best daddy to our little Honey. You amaze me with how you step into every new journey with a willingness to learn and become the best you can be,” she said.
Sadie closed her message with more loving words, writing, “thank you for making me smile every single day. this year will be a special one :) you are the greatest.”
