Terri Irwin Has Never Remarried After The Death Of Her Husband, Steve Irwin
Over the past several years, people have speculated about Terri Irwin’s romantic life. One of the most persistent rumors is that she’s secretly dating Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe.
Terri married Australian TV personality and conservationist Steve Irwin in 1992. They had two children together, Bindi and Robert.

Steve died on September 4, 2006, due to an injury caused by a stingray while he was filming an underwater documentary. He was 44 years old.
Terri has never remarried since Steve’s tragic death. She told The Courier Mail in 2021:
“You know, and I keep saying this, and I think maybe 15 years later people are finally starting to believe me, Steve was it for me. That’s just the way it is. I had a big, big love and it was enough to last a lifetime.”
Furthermore, Terri told PEOPLE in 2018 that she hasn’t even been on a single date since Steve died.
Robert Irwin Addresses Rumors His Mom Terri Is Dating Russell Crowe
While Terri has always maintained she will never remarry, that hasn’t stopped people from starting rumors about her love life. Over the years, she’s been rumored to have dated everyone from Hulk Hogan to King Charles.
One of the most persistent rumors that has been around for a while is that Terri is secretly dating actor Russell Crowe. Russell and the Irwins have been friends for years, and Russell was extremely close to Steve before he died.
“…he is such a good person, and a very good friend to our family, and I actually do really love him because he loved Steve and they were such good friends,” Terri told The Courier Mail.
But Terri Irwin has always denied that she’s dating Russell Crowe. Still, the rumors persist. Her son, Robert, addressed those rumors during a recent interview.
“Mum has been linked to something like 30 people since Dad passed away,” Robert said.” It’s ridiculous. Every single day it’s, I mean, it was King Charles. It was Russell. It was everyone. It’s all absolute nonsense.”
Terri has said she’s too busy to even consider dating. She pours her energy into caring for her family and the animals at Australia Zoo. In doing so, she helps ensure that Steve’s legacy will live on for generations.
