Production On Season 2 Of Landman Has Officially Started

Actress Demi Moore was recently seen filming Landman‘s second season in Fort Worth, Texas.

Landman, helmed by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, debuted on Paramount+ in November 2024. The show, which stars Billy Bob Thornton (playing Tommy Norris), follows the drama and danger surrounding the world connected to the oilfields of West Texas.

The series also stars Ali Larter, 1923’s Michelle Randolph, and Moore. Moore, who plays Cami Miller, is expected to have an elevated role on the show following the death of Cami’s husband, Monty Miller, at the end of Season 1.

Paramount announced in March that Landman had been renewed for a second season. Just a few weeks later, the network shared that production had officially started.

Main stars Thornton, Moore, Larter, and Randolph are all expected to return to the show. Plus, a new (but familiar) face may appear in the second season.

Rumors have been swirling about Sam Elliott’s potential involvement in the series. The legendary Tombstone star previously played Shea Brennan in another Taylor Sheridan series, 1883.

While we wait for confirmation about Elliott’s involvement in Landman, there’s been another exciting update concerning production on Season 2.

KDFW, a news station servicing the Dallas–Fort Worth area, reported that Moore arrived in Fort Worth this week to film for Landman‘s second season. The actress also posted an image on her Instagram Story of her first day on set.

The photo showed Moore flaunting a pair of socks designed by her daughter, Rumer Willis, who Moore shares with her ex-husband, Bruce Willis.

CBS News reports that roads in downtown Fort Worth closed for the Landman cast and crew. Filming was canceled on Tuesday (April 8), but it resumed on Wednesday (April 9).
